Josh Davies wins South of England Amateur in a Playoff
SURREY, England (July 21, 2016) -- In a playoff Josh Davies was able to win the South of England Amateur. Davies, of Wales, finished 2-under and tied with John Axelsen of Denmark following the completion of the final round at Walton Heath Golf Club.
Davies carded 72-hole scores of 74-70-67-75 to make his way to the playoff. Axelsen put together rounds of 72-72-68-74 to reach the 2-under tally.
The only other player to finish under-par was Tom Harris (Isle of Man) at 1-under and in third. Jake Burnage (England) was fourth at 1-over while three others shared fifth with a score of 2-over.
