Callaway's Big Bertha Alpha Hybrid
Meet the new Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815
Hybrids - your new best friends for hitting low
spinning shots from a variety of fairway lies and
rough.
Similar in design to Callaway's X2 Hot Pro
hybrids, the new 815 models feature a
compact head shape, minimal offset and a low,
forward center of gravity for increased distance
and lower spin rates.
However, unlike X2 Hot lineup, the 815 hybrids
feature an adjustable hosel and offer the same
ball speed performance found in Callaway's new
Big Bertha Alpha 815 fairway woods.
Here's a summary of all the performance benefits
found in the new Big Bertha Alpha 815 Hybrids:
- Forged Hyper Speed Face
Cup
Improves ball speed across the face, especially on
misses low on the face.
-
Controlled Trajectory
Penetrating ball flight and less spin is what you
get from hybrids that feature a low and forward
center of gravity.
-
Compact Head Shape With Less
Offset
Compact-looking head shape with minimal offset
preferred by better players.
-
OptiFit Adjustability
Adjustable hosel provides eight combinations of
loft and lie angle settings.
The Big Bertha Alpha 815 hybrids ($249, in stores
January 16, 2015) are available in three lofts: 18
(2H), 20 (3H) and 23 (4H). They come stock with
Fujikura's Speeder 865 shaft (R, S and X flexes).
