Pat brings a wealth of experience as captain of the 2012 U.S. Curtis Cup Team. She has played in over 50 USGA competitions including the U.S. Girls' Junior, U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Women's Amateur, U.S. Women's Mid- Amateur and the USGA Senior Women's Amateur. She played on the 1978 and 1988 Curtis Cup Teams.

Her best finish in a USGA championship was runner-up at the 1987 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur.

Pat's college golf career was at Stanford University where she received a BS in Biology. She got her M.D. at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, returned to Northern California and furthered her career in internal medicine and oncology at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. She currently is Professor of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco and is the Associate Chief of Staff at the VA Medical Center.

Pat resides in Mill Valley, California and is married to Mike Iker. They have two daughters, Annemarie and Teresa who are both attending college.
